The process

How it works

From your first call to a certified plan in hand — here's what to expect.

Request a Survey

Get in touch by phone or through the estimate form. Describe your property and what you need — boundary survey, location certificate, building layout, or other services. I will follow up to confirm details and provide an estimate.

Field Work

I visit your property to conduct the survey work — locating existing monuments, measuring boundaries, and gathering the field data needed to produce an accurate, legally defensible plan. Any required survey markers are set, and boundaries are cleared and blazed if required.

Certified Plan

You receive a certified survey plan prepared and sealed by a Nova Scotia Land Surveyor. The plan is then registered or submitted to your Municipal Planning Office for review.
